कोर्निया अंधत्व मुक्त भारत पर गोष्ठी

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच में आज कोर्निया अंधत्व मुक्त भारत पर साप्ताहिक गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया. इस विषय पर बोलते हुए "सक्षम" के प्रांतीय अध्यक्ष अभिषेक सिंघवी ने कहा की एक अनुमान के अनुसार राजस्थान में लगभग १० लाख लोग कोर्निया अंधत्व से पीड़ित हैं. गरम और रेगिस्तानी प्रदेश होने के कारण यहाँ कोर्निया के रोगग्रस्त होने की सम्भावना अधिक है. साथ ही आँखों में चोट लगना भी इस प्रकार के अंधत्व का एक विशेष कारण होता है. चूँकि चोट ज्यादातर छोटे बच्चों को लगती है इसलिए उनका सम्पूर्ण जीवन अंधकारमय हो जाता है.

अभिषेक सिंघवी ने आगे कहा की सम्पूर्ण भारत को कोर्निया अंधत्व से मुक्त करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के भैया जी जोशी ने इसी वर्ष मार्च के महीने में कोर्निया अंधत्व मुक्त भारत अभियान (CAMBA) की शुरुआत की और २०१८ तक भारत को इस अभिशाप से मुक्त करने का संकल्प लिया. संघ के ही एक प्रकल्प "सक्षम" के माध्यम से इसे कार्यान्वित किया जा रहा है.

इस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए तीन स्तर पर काम करना है. १. कोर्निया अंधत्व से पीड़ित रोगी की पहचान, २. नेत्रदान के लिए जागरूकता पैदा करना ३. नेत्र प्रत्यारोपण एवं उसके बाद की देखभाल.

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच के अतिरिक्त संयोजक ज्योति कोठारी ने कहा की अनेक सामाजिक संस्थाएं जयपुर में अंधत्व निवारण की दिशा में काम कर रही है उनके साथ गठवन्धन कर इस काम में तेजी लाइ जा सकती है. साथ ही स्कूल- कॉलेजों में जा कर विद्यार्थियों में जागरूकता पैदा करना इस अभियान को संवल प्रदान करेगा. उन्होंने इस दिशा में किये गए सभी कार्यों के लिए मंच द्वारा सहयोग देने का आश्वासन दिया.

अध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन में सक्षम के प्रांतीय सचिव डा. रविशंकर शर्मा ने कहा की अंधत्व चार कारणों से होता है जैसे आँखों की नस का काम नहीं करना (लाइलाज), रेटिना की खराबी, कोर्निया जनित एवं मोतियाबिंद आदि. मोतियाबिंद का इलाज व्यापक पैमाने में हो रहा है और कृत्रिम लेंस प्रत्यारोपण कर इस बीमारी से छुटकारा मिल रहा है परंतु कोर्निया केवल प्राकृतिक रूप से ही प्राप्त हो सकता है और मृत व्यक्ति द्वारा किया गया नेत्रदान ही इसका एक मात्र उपाय है.

एक व्यक्ति से दो कोर्निया प्राप्त होता है और आधुनिक तकनीक के उपयोग से इसके द्वारा ६ आँखें रोशन की जा सकती है. आइये हम सब मिलकर नेत्रदान करने का संकल्प करें एवं लोगों को इसके लिए प्रेरित करें जिससे भारत शीघ्र ही कोर्निया अन्धत्व के अभिशाप से मुक्त हो.

गोष्ठी में तेजकरण पराशर ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किये एवं अंत में मंच के अतिरिक्त संयोजक प्रदीप चौहान ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया.

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच का ३४ वां स्थापना दिवस आज जयपुर के रामनिवास बाग़ स्थित स्काउट गाइड परिसर में मनाया गया. आज यह सुखद संयोग है की स्थापना के बाद पहली बार गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच का स्थापना दिवस रविवार को पड़ा है. सभी जयपुर वासी जानते हैं की यह मंच बिगत ३३ वर्षों से गुलाबी नगर जयपुर की समस्याओं के निस्तारण के लिए प्रति रविवार गोष्ठियां आयोजित करता आया है.

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच की स्थापना २६ जून १९८३ को को डा उजला अरोड़ा एवं गिरधारीलाल भार्गव ने की थी. आपातकाल में अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता पर रोक लगी थी उसीके विरोध में सभी को अपनी बात कहने की स्वतत्रता देने के लिए इस मंच की स्थापना हुई थी एवं इसी लिए २६ जून (आपातकाल लगने का दिन) इसकी स्थापना के लिए चुना गया था.

इस मंच के संयोजक जयपुर के लोकप्रिय सांसद स्व गिरधारीलाल भार्गव थे जो की ६ बार यहाँ से सांसद रहे. संस्थापक स्व डा उजला अरोड़ा पांच बार विधायक एवं दो बार राज्य सरकार में मंत्री रहीं। सांसद एवं विधायक या मंत्री रहते हुए भी ये दोनों हमेशा मंच पर आते रहे. आज उनकी कमी सभी को खल रही है. इन दोनों के अतिरिक्त रघुनाथदास सोमानी, विश्वनाथ अग्रवाल, बाबूलाल तोतला, एवं वैद्य हरिमोहन शर्मा ने भी पदाधिकारियों के रूप में गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच को अपनी लम्बी सेवाएं दी है.

प्रदीप सिंह चौहान, तेजकरण पाराशर एवं ज्योति कोठारी अभी भी नियमित रूप से इस मंच को चला रहे हैं.

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच का ३३ वाँ स्थापना दिवस

आज रविबार २८ जून गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच का ३३ वाँ स्थापना दिवस स्काउट गाइड परिसर, रामनिवास बाग, जयपुर में मनाया गया. इस मंच की स्थापना २६ जून १९८३ को हुई थी एवं मंच ने अपने गौरवपूर्ण यात्रा का ३२ वर्ष पूर्ण कर लिया है. परम्परानुसार रविवार को ही गोष्ठी आयोजित कर स्थापना दिवस मनाया गया.

आजके मुख्य वक्त श्री मिर्ज़ा हवीव बेग "पारस" थे एवं मंच के सबसे बुज़ुर्ग नियमित श्रोता ८७ वर्षीय श्री रामपाल ने कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता की. श्री तेजकरण पाराशर ने स्मृति चारण करते हुए मंच के ३२ वर्ष के इतिहास पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा की ३२ वर्ष से प्रति रविवार यहाँ गोष्ठी आयोजित होती आ रही है.

मंच के अतिरिक्त संयोजक ज्योति कोठारी ने कहा की बोलने की स्वतंत्रता का पोषण करना इस मंच की सबसे बड़ी उपलब्धि है. उन्होंने यह भी कहा इस मंच के संयोजक श्री गिरधारीलाल भार्गव जयपुर से ६ बार साँसद चुने गए व संस्थापक डा उजाला अरोरा कई बार विधायक रहीं व एक बार राज्य सरकार में मंत्री भी बनी.

गोष्ठी में उपश्थित सभी ने मंच के ३३ वेँ वर्ष प्रवेश के उपलक्ष्य में बधाई दी एवं इसके बाद सभी का मुह मीठा करवाया गया. अतिरिक्त संयोजक प्रदीप चौहान ने सभी का आभार प्रगट किया।

Today, June 26 is Establishment day of Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch. We are thankful to our founders, all our speakers, journalists and especially the audience who helped us running and flourish this forum during our unbroken journey of thirty-two long years. We, at this moment, take the opportunity to thank all Jaipurites.

Late Dr. Ukala Arora (Sanskrit Education Minister, Rajasthan) was the founder of this forum along with Late Sri Girdharilal Bhargava (Six times Member of Parliament (MP- Loksabha) from Jaipur consecutively. I remember both of them with great respect. They founded the forum on June 26, 1983. Sri Raghunathdas Somani generously donated an amount of Rs. eleven thousand for running the cost of the forum and he was honored with Patronship.

The date was deliberately chosen to remember the black day of imposing Emergency on Indian democracy by Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. Right to freedom of speech was snatched from the people of India during the Emergency period. The Manch was started with a view to empower the citizens of Jaipur with freedom of speech.

The Manch has been organizing public meetings every Sunday since its inception. We chose a topic of public interest and invite a subject expert to speak on the topic. The audience used to exercise their right to ask questions, bring their problems or suggest some solutions. All the audience are free to speak in this forum.

Large numbers of dignitaries adorned the Chair as Chief speaker or to Preside over the meetings. We had Chandrashekhar, former Prime Minister of India, Admiral VS Shekhawat, Hon'ble  MG Mukherjee, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court,  Hon'ble Justice VS Dave, reverend  Jagatguru Shankaracharya and many others dignified personalities among us.

We have already met more than 1600 times on all Sundays during our journey of 32 long years. Entry is free for all and we request everyone to come and join the forum.

दीपावली (दीवाली) पर्व का महत्व पर गुलाबीनगर विचार मंच की गोष्ठी

दिवाली पूजन 

"दीपावली (दीवाली) पर्व का महत्व" विषय पर गुलाबीनगर विचार मंच की गोष्ठी स्थानीय स्काउट एवं गाइड परिसर में रविवार,  दिनांक २६ अक्टूबर २०१४ को प्रातः ११ बजे से आयोजित की जायेगी। जैसा की हम सभी जानते हैं की यह सप्ताह दिवाली के त्यौहार के रूप में ही मनाया जा रहा है जिसमे कुल पांच पर्वों का समावेश हो जाता है - धन तेरस, रूप चौदस, दीपावली, गोवर्द्धन एवं भाई दूज. इस के साथ ही जैनो का पर्व महावीर निर्वाणोत्सव भी इसी बीच में मनाया जाता है.

इस पर्व का भारतीय परंपरा में विशेष महत्व है परन्तु सभी लोग इसकी विशेषताओं से वाकिफ नहीं हैं. इसलिए भारतीय परंपरा, धर्म एवं संस्कृति के विशिष्ट विद्वानों को आमंत्रित किया गया है जिससे जान सामान्य अपनी संस्करोति को पहचान सकें।

गोष्ठी के मुखता वक्ता श्री भास्कर श्रोत्रिय, प्राचार्य संस्कृत महाविद्यालय एवं विशिष्ट वक्ता श्री जगदीश शर्मा वेदाचार्य होंगे। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता जयपुर विरासत की विदुषी व्याख्याता शिक्षाविद श्रीमती विनय शर्मा करेंगी।

ऐसे महान विद्वानों एवं विदुषियों का त्रिवेणी संगम एक दुर्लभ संयोग है एवं इनलोगों से दिवाली जैसे पर्व के महत्त्व के वारे में जानना अपने आप में सौभाग्य की बात है. सभी जयपुर वासी कत्यक्रम में सादर आमंत्रित हैं. कार्यक्रम के प्रायोजक बोथरा फॉउंडेसन के श्री सुभाष बोथरा होंगे एवं प्रवेश निःशुल्क है.

Make in India vs free global economy discussed in Gulabi Nagar

Sri Jai Singh Kothari noted economist and editor, the "Nafa Nuksan" discussed on "Make in India  vs free global economy". He was speaking in a forum discussion organized by  Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch at Scout and guide campus, Jaipur on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Sri Jai Singh Kothari told that Prime minister Narendra Modi's step towards "Make in India campaign" is a welcome step. However, a blue print has yet to come for analyzing the same. He talked about various aspects of globalization and free trade. He also informed about behavior pattern of economy, finance and capital in free economy.

There are aspects of five production in present scenario 1. Research and development 2. Manufacturing of components 3. Assembling  4. Distribution 5. Flow of profit. He added that the visionaries of Make in India campaign has to analyze suitable aspect and plan to mobilize resources towards that direction. India has almost no infrastructure for R & D and it is also difficult to move for manufacturing components. Hence India can be an assembling hub.

Jai Singh Kothari opined that India has to go miles to be a manufacturing hub. The country has already been facing challenges from China and several other countries are in the queue to throw challenges. However, Indian can bank upon its human resources. Skill development is key to success while developing human resources.

Answering a question of Jyoti Kothari, additional convener of the Manch he told that India can do far better in service sector. However, we have to think beyond traditional services we are offering. He told that government can facilitate Indian workforce in finding jobs out side India. Identifying future scopes in global job market is difficult for a layman and government should engage experts to add value.

Subhash Bothra told that cultural exchange can be a good idea for knowing each other and also for earning dollars. Nitin Bagrecha, a high school student asked about fruitful education. Drashan Kothari, a young entrepreneur in IT was advised to start some services related to leisure and comfort.

"स्वच्छ भारत अभियान " विषय पर गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच की साप्ताहिक गोष्ठी आज रविवार, १२ अक्टूबर  २०१४ को पातः ११ बजे से १ बजे तक आयोजित की गई.   भारतीय प्रशाशनिक सेवा के पूर्व अधिकारी श्री सत्यनारायण सिंह, IAS  ने गोष्ठी के मुख्या वक्ता के रूप में बोलते हुए कहा की हम भारत वासी व्यक्तिगत रूप से स्वच्छ परन्तु सामाजिक रूप से अस्वच्छ हैं. हम अपने को, अपने घरों को तो साफ़ सुथरा रखते  हैं परन्तु सार्वजनिक स्थानो, सडकों को गन्दा करने में नहीं हिचकते। उन्होंने अपमी अमरीका यात्रा का वर्णन करते हुए एक अनुभव बताया। वहां के लोगों ने जगह जगह लिख रहा था की हम अपने घरों तक सीमित नहीं हैं.  

 श्री सत्यनारायण सिंह, IAS ने कहा की महात्मा गांधी के स्वच्छता के आदर्शों को लेकर वर्त्तमान प्रधान मंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने जो स्वच्छ भारत अभियान चलाया है उसमे हमे अवश्य सहभागिता करनी चाहिए।  उन्होंने सफाई का आदर्श उपस्थित करने वाले उपस्थित बच्चों की भुरि भूरि प्रशंशा की और कहा की वे इस आदर्श कार्य को अपने विद्यालयों में फैलाएं साथ ही अपने परिवार जानो को भी सार्वजनिक स्थानो पर गन्दगी करने से रोकें। 

स्वच्छ भारत अभियान के Brand Ambassador के रूप में चिन्हित ८ से १३ साल के ७ बच्चों को इस अवसर पर गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच की और से पुरष्कृत किया गया.  गोष्ठी के अध्यक्ष माननीय जस्टिस इन्द्रसेन इसरानी, सदस्य , एम्पावर्ड  कमिटी, मुख्य वक्ता  श्री सत्यनारायण सिंह, IAS एवं कार्यक्रम के प्रायोजक श्री सुभाष बोथरा, अध्यक्ष, बोथरा फाउंडेशन ने बच्चों को पुरष्कार वितरित किये। बच्चों के साथ फोटो खिंचवा कर उनका उत्साह बढ़ाया। 

माननीय जस्टिस इन्द्रसेन इसरानी, सदस्य , एम्पावर्ड  कमिटी ने गोष्ठी की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कहा की स्वच्छता का आदर्श जीवन में उतरने के लिए है. उन्होंने कहा की हम एक छोटी से छूटी जगह चुन लें चाहे वो एक गली हो या मोहल्ला एवं उसे स्वच्छ रखने का भरपूर प्रयत्न करें। इन छोटे छोटे प्रयासों से पूरा देश एक दिन साफ़ सुथरा हो जातेगा। मोहल्ले की सफाई कर जिन छोटे बच्चों ने देश को महान सन्देश दिया है उन्होंने उनकी भूरि भूरि प्रशंसा की एवं भविष्य में भी इसी प्रकार कार्य करते रहने का आह्वान किया।  

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच के अतिरिक्त संयोजक ज्योति कोठारी ने कार्यक्रम का सञ्चालन करते हुए अतिथियों का स्वागत किया, मंच का परिचय दिया एवं ब्रांड एम्बेस्डर बच्चों स्वर किये हुए कार्य का विवरण प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने आज के दिन को विशेष दिन बताते हुए कहा की ये बच्चे वास्तव में आज के मुख्य अतिथि हैं अतः उन्हें सबसे आगे की सीट पर बैठाया गया है।

 गोष्ठी में मंच के प्रचार प्रसार अधिकारी तेजकरण पाराशर ने मालवीयनगर क्षेत्र में स्वच्छता अभियान को आगे बढ़ने का संकल्प व्यक्त किया। मंच के अतिरिक्त संयोजक प्रदीप चौहान को राजस्थान सरकार द्वारा जयपुर का वरिष्ठ Public prosecutor नियुक्त किये जाने पर मंच की और से बधाई दी गई. उन्होंने सभी आगंतुक अतिथियों को धन्यवाद ज्ञापित करते हुए मंच की गोष्ठी में पधारते रहने का आह्वान किया।

Freedom of speech for Jaipur citizens

Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch, Jaipur

Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch is a citizen's forum in Jaipur. The word Gulabi Nagar means the Pink city an acronym to Jaipur. Late Girdharilal Bhrgava, MP, Jaipur and Dr. Ujala Arora, Minister in Rajasthan has founded this forum in June 26, 1983. They have established this forum to encourage freedom of speech for Jaipur citizens.  

The forum has been organizing weekly seminars (All Sundays) on various useful and timely topics since last 32 years. Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch have already organized discussions on more than  sixteen hundred topics. No other known forum has been organizing discussions for such a long time continuously. 

Normally, the main speaker speaks on a specified topic and audience present ask questions, provide suggestions and launch complaints and grievances if any. This is an open forum and every body has freedom of speech (Limited to specified topic).

Te chief speaker replies on the queries of the audience. Discussions end with Presidential address. This is non-political forum despite its founders being noted politicians. Entry is open for all Jaipurites and no entry fee is charged. 

Kalicharan Sarraf, education minister of Rajasthan has been appointed as convener ofthe forum recently. The post was vacant for long time after sad dismissal of  Girdharilal Bhargava, MP. Pradip Singh Chouhan, Advocate and Jyoti Kothari, Gems and Jewelry dealer has been continuing as additional conveners. Tejkaran Parashar is looking after PRO. 

Present venue of meetings is Scout and Guide campus at Ramniwas Bagh, Jaipur and timing is between 11 AM and 01 PM. Our next discussion will be held on October 12, 2014 on Clean India campaign. Children working as brand ambassadors for clean India will be awarded after discussion. भारत के प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने २ अक्टूबर, गांधी जयंती के दिन स्वयं झाड़ू लगा कर स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की शुरुआत की है. देश के प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य है की भारत को स्वच्छ बनाने में अपना योगदान करे. महात्मा गांधी जी  की १५० वीं जयंती २०१९ तक सम्पूर्ण भारत को स्वच्छ बनाने के लक्ष्य में गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच भी कृत संकल्प है.

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच जयपुर की एक ऐसी संस्था है जो बिगत ३१ वर्षों से निरंतर प्रति रविबार सामयिक विषयों  पर संगोष्ठी आयोजित करता रहता है. स्वर्गीय सांसद गिरधारीलाल भार्गव एवं पूर्व मंत्री  स्वर्गीया  डा उजाला अरोडा द्वारा संस्थापित यह संस्था जयपुर शहर के प्रत्येक नागरिक के लिए अभिव्यक्ति का एक सशक्त मंच है. जयपुर के रामनिवास बाग़ के पास स्काउट गाइड परिसर में प्रति रविवार संगोष्ठी आयोजित होती है.

इस मंच में आने के लिए किसी सदस्यता अथवा निमंत्रण की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है. जयपुर शहर का प्रत्येक नागरिक संस्था की गोष्ठी में भाग ले सकता है एवं यहाँ आने वाले लोग अपने विचार भी रख सकते हैं. अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का यह मंच एक श्रेष्ठ उदहारण है.

स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के सन्मान में कवि सम्मेलन

जयपुर शहर के प्रमुख स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों एवं गांधीवादी विचारकों के सन्मान में गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच एवं राष्ट्रीय कवि संगम की और से कवि सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया. यह संमेलन सर्वश्री सिद्धराज जी ढड्ढा, पूरणचन्द जी टूंकलिया, जवाहरलाल जी जैन, गोपाललाल जी पारासर, त्रिलोकचंद जी जैन, बसंतीलाल जी मुकीम के सम्मान में आयोजित किया गया. इन सभी दिवंगत महापुरुषों के परिवार जनों को माला लगा कर एवं शाल ओढ़ा कर सम्मानित किया गया. इस सम्पूर्ण आयोजन के संयोजक श्री तेजकरण पराशर थे.

राजस्थान के शिक्षामंत्री श्री कालीचरण सर्राफ कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि थे एवं सपत्नीक कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित हुए. उन्होंने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के परिवार जानो एवं तेजकरण पराशर का सम्मान किया। कार्यक्रम के विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री राम नारायण खूंटेटा थे एवं अध्यक्षता श्री घनश्यामदास परख ने की.

ढूँढाड़ी के वरिष्ठ कवि श्री विहारीशरण जी पारीक, कल्याण सिंह जी शेखावत, श्रीमती सुशीला "शील" (आगरा), जगदीश जी (भरतपुर) आदि अनेक कवियों ने वीर रसात्मक, व्यंग, देशभक्ति मूलक एवं हास्यरस की कविताओं सेश्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध किया।

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच के संयोजक ज्योति कोठारी ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन किया एवं राष्ट्रीय कवि संगम के श्री किशोर जी पारीक ने कवि सम्मलेन का सञ्चालन किया।

ढूंढाड़ी महक पुस्तक का विमोचन एवं ढूंढाड़ी कवी सम्मलेन

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच ने आज ९ मार्च २०१४ को ढूंढाड़ी परिषद् के साथ मिलकर कविवर कल्याण सिंह शेखावत 'भायड़ा' कि नई  पुस्तक "ढूंढाड़ी महक"  का विमोचन किया एवं ढूंढाड़ी कवी सम्मलेन भी आयोजित किया।  इस अवसर पर जयपुर शहर के अनेक गणमान्य कवी एवं साहित्यकार मौजूद थे.

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच के संयोजक ज्योति कोठारी ने मंच का परिचय देते हुए आगंतुक कविओं, साहित्यकारों एवं श्रोताओं का स्वागत करते हुए मंच सञ्चालन कवी श्री किशोर पारीक को सौंप दिया। उनके आह्वान पर मंच के अन्य एक संयोजक प्रदीप सिंह चौहान ने मंच कि गतिविधियों से अवगत करवाया एवं माल्यार्पण कर आगंतुक अतिथियों का स्वागत किया।

वैद्य गोपीनाथ कविराज ने ढूंढाड़ शब्द के अनेक अर्थ बताये उनके इस विद्वत्तापूर्ण मीमांसा पर श्रोताओं ने हर्ष व्यक्त किया।  इसके बाद कविवर कल्याण सिंह शेखावत 'भायड़ा' कि नई  पुस्तक "ढूंढाड़ी महक"  का विमोचन किया गया. मंचासीन विद्वत जनो को पुस्तक कि प्रति भी भेंट कि गई.

अन्य अनेक कविओं ने भी अपनी रचनाये सुनाई एवं ढूंढाड़ी भाषा के महत्व को रेखांकित किया। गोष्ठी कि अध्यक्षता प्रसिद्द व्यवसायी श्री रामकिशोर खुटेटा ने कि. इस अवसर पर मंच के संस्थापक संयोजक एवं जयपुर के लोकप्रिय संसद स्वर्गीय श्री गिरधारीलाल भार्गव को उनकी पांचवी पुण्यतिथि पर भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कि गई.

Pravasi Bhartiya Divas - PBD 2014

India Government celebrated Pravasi Bhartiya Divas at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi from 7th to 9th, January 2014. 25 million non resident indians make the reachest community in the world. Govt. of India is trying to attract these pravasi bharatiya by organizing NRI meets since last 12 years.

Rajendra Bhansali, spoke today at 1394th seminar of Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch. He added that NRI's invested $71 billion in India in 2013. Their remittences play vital role in meeting trade defecit of India. Jyoti Kothari told that british government sent thousand of labours to carribean islands Fizi, Surenam and African countries like Zambia, Uganda and South Afrika. Later on Indians found their way in the UK, US, Canada etc. Indians went to Gulf countries after independance and more than 5 million indians are living there. Now NRI's (Pravasi Bharatiya) are found all over the world. He added that "central and provincial governments in India look NRI's in dollars. However, governments are not keen in solving their issues and problems. We have to work on these issues.

Advocate Pradeep Chauhan informed that today is anniversary of India's great son Swami Vivekanand and we must remember him. He threw light on his life.

Mahesh Mahamwal, Anil Kothari, Nittin Bagrecha and Darshan Kothari also participated in this discussion.

Maniram Chaudhary presided over the meeting and Tejkaran Parashar extended vote of thanks.

महावीर इंटरनेशनल कि सेवायें विषय पर गोष्ठी

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच कि गोष्ठी संख्या १५९१ में महावीर इंटरनेशनल कि सेवायें विषय पर बोलते हुए मुख्या वक्ता संस्था के सचिव सुभाष गोलेछा ने कहा कि तीर्थंकर भगवन महावीर के आदर्शों से प्रेरित यह संस्था पिछले तीस वर्षों से मानव सेवा के क्षेत्र में निरंतर अग्रसर है. भारत भर में इसकी लगभग ३०० शाखाएं कार्यरत है जिसमे ५० हज़ार से अधिक सदस्य हैं.

महावीर इंटरनेशनल जयपुर के सवाई मानसिंह चिकित्सालय अनेक अस्पतालों में निशुल्क दवा एवं सर्जिकल सामान वितरित करती है इसके लिए घर घर से दवा संग्रह भी किया जाता है. संस्था ने कई स्थानो पर होमिओपैथि एवं अन्य क्लिनिक भी खोल रखे हैं.  मेडिकल कैम्पो एवं रक्त दान शिविरों के माध्यम से दूर दराज के इलाकों में भी सेवा प्रदान कि जाती है. चिकित्सकीय सुविधाओं के अलावा छात्रों को कॉपी- किताब एवं जरूरतमंद परिवारों को अन्न भी वितरित किया जाता है।

गुलाबी नगर विचार मंच के ज्योति कोठारी ने वताया कि जगन्नाथ सिंह मेहता एवं दिलवाग राय जैन के नेतृत्व में १८ सदस्यों ने १९७५ में इस संस्था कि स्थापना मानव सेवा के उद्देश्य से कि थी. उस समय का वीज आज विशाल बरगद बन कर जन सेवा का महान कार्य कर रहा है. विशाल स्तर पर वृक्षारोपण भी संस्था के कार्यक्रम का अंग है.

गोष्ठी में उपस्थित मदन मोहन मोदी, दर्शन कोठारी आदि ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किये। अध्यक्षता करते हुए डा. शिवप्रसाद ने कहा कि सेवा के ऐसे प्रकल्प एवं सेवा भावी लोगों कि जितनी प्रशंसा कि जाए कम है. उन्होंने अधिक से अधिक लोगों को मानव सेवा से जुड़ने के लिए आह्वान किया। अंत में तेजकरण पाराशर ने सभी को धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।

Discussion on Dasahara and Vijaya Dasami in Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch, Jaipur

 Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch, Jaipur organized a discussion on Dasahara and Vijaya Dasami today on the eve of the said festival. It is worth noted that Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch has been organizing weekly discussions on various topics since 1983. They organize it every Sunday.

Late Girdharilal Bhargav, MP, Jaipur and Late Dr. Ujala Arora, Minister, Rajasthan were the founder of this Manch.

Darshan Kothari, Chief speaker of the program told that Dasahara and Vijaya Dasami are one of the main festivals of Hindu Communities. Dasahara is a Kshatriya festival according to Hinduism. Rakhi is for Brahmins, Diwali for Vaisya and Holi for Shudra communities. These classifications are according to work distributions. All four sects celebrate and enjoy all four festivals. However, the nature of these festivals are liable for such classification. Kshatriya community worship their arms and weapons on the eve of Dasahara.

Rajasthan is the land of brave Rajputs. Hence, Dasahara has a great importance for them.
It is Vijaya Dasami in West Bengal. Bengali community enjoys "Kolakoli" in this day. Vijaya Dasami comes just after Durga Puja, the greatest festival of Bengal. Lord Rama (Ram) conquered Ravan (Demon King) on this day.

Tejkaran Parashar told that Dasahara is the establishment day of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a great volunteer organization of India.

Remembering Girdharilal Bhargava

Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch remembered late Girdharilal Bhargava, their founder convener on Sunday, March 7, 2010 on his first death anniversary.

Vaidya Harimohan Sharma, his childhood friend remembered him as chief speaker. He told that both he and Girdharilal Bhargava were closely associated in RSS. He remembered gradual uplift of Girdharilal Bhargava. He told that he had never thought that his friend would reach such height.

He has witnessed him from an ordinary person to a councilor and then to member of legislative assembly and finally the member of parliament. He added that Mr. Bhargava remained as simple as he was till his last day.

Vishwanath Agrawal, another close associate remembered how laborious he was. He informed that Mr. Bhargava was not only popular and a life long worker but also a vigorous reader. Mr. Bhargava used to study till late night preparing for his questions in the assembly and the parliament later on.

Tejkaran Parashar, another associate told that he used to type letters and News of Mr. Bhargava. Mr. Bhargava had been replying letters to all. He also sent letters for all condolence meetings in Jaipur.

Pradip Chouhan, Advocate, had worked with him for a long time in his election campaigns. He remembered how Brigadier Bhawani Singh, former Maharaja of Jaipur had come to meet him just after his defeat in MP election. Girdharilal Bhargava defeated Maharaja Bhawani Singh in his first election fought for Jaipur Parliamentary seat.

Jyoti Kothari told that he had never met Mahatma Gandhi but  Mr. Bhargava was resembling him. He was simple and remained simple life long. He also told that it is difficult to have another politician like him. He was remembering his days with Mr. Bhargava.

Mr. Manchand Khandela, told in his presidential address that he had respected Mr. Bhargava life long despite political rivalry. He told that he opposed Mr. Bhargava many times for political reasons but Mr. Bhargava remained cool. He added that Mr. Bhargava always heartily met and invited him. he was a true saint detached with all cravings and aversions.

The meeting was started with garlanding on the photographs of Mr. Girdharilal bhargava and ended with observing two minutes' silence to pay homage to the heavenly soul.

Death anniversary: Girdharilal Bhargava

Shree Girdharilal Bhargava, MP, Jaipur and convener of Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch left for his heavenly abode on Sunday,  March 8, 2009. We were preparing to go to the forum meeting when the sad news came in. We have conducted the forum meeting even on that day but as a condolence meeting with broken heart .

A year has passed since then. We are continuing forum discussions without him.  The sad day is approaching and we have decided to remember him on his death anniversary this Sunday, March 7, 2010.

Our forum discussion will be conducted to remember him and to pay him homage. All Jaipur citizens are invited to pay homage their beloved MP Sri Girdharilal Bhargava.

Holi: Color Festival of India

Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch organized forum discussion on Holi: Color festival of India on the eve of Holi festival on February 28, 2010.

Gyanendra Singh Shekhawat, Chief speaker, informed many salient features about Holi, the color festival of India. He told that this is the festival which abolishes all barriers among old and young, rich and poor. He told that Holi has provided an outlet to human emotions. It is symbol of victory of good over evils. He illustrated this with the story of Hiranya Kashyap and Prahlad.

Tejkaran Parashar informed that  the King of Jaipur used to go to Dashara Maidan and ignite Holi rubbing stones. The King used to ignite the fire at first and then every body  took the fire to ignite at their own places.

Jyoti Kothari added that Holi is a Shudra festival according to Hindu culture. It gives an outlet to human emotions related to "Tamasik" britti. Raksha bandhan is a Brahman, Dashara is a Kshatriya and Diwali is a Vaishya festival. However, every body enjoys all four festivals. He also told that the full moon day is generally considered as to increase madness. Holi, fall on the full moon day that increases activity of madness.

Moreover, it is the end of spring which is again season of Entertainment, joy and happiness. He also informed about Holi of Bengal and especially of Azimganj, Murshidabad.

Darshan Kothari told that he enjoys Holi very much with his friends. He and his friends enjoy colors.

Ashok Bothra, the presiding Dignitary appeal every one to play Holi peacefully and not to create any nuisance.

Chinese New Year

Today, the February 14, 2010 is Chinese New Year day. Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch organized a forum discussion on this topic Chinese New Year today.

Yashwant Golechha, chief speaker told that Chinese have twelve year cycles of time named on different animals. This year is referred as Tiger year in China. Chinese calendar is a lunar calendar whereas English or Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar. Therefore, Chinese New year days vary in different years in Gregorian calendar. Chinese people will celebrate fifteen days long New Year festival in traditional way. Most of the business, industries even government offices will be kept close during these days for eight days.

Jyoti Kothari told that there are lot of similarities between India and China. Chinese sweep clean their houses in hope of sweeping out ill luck and incoming good fortune just like Indians do in Diwali. He also told that Chinese people eat vegetarian food on the first and eighth days of the ceremony. They have a twelve year cycle as Indians have 30 years cycle in their Samvatsar calendars.

Ashok Barhat, Rampal Pareek, Mamta Kothari and Mirza Habib Baig "Paras" also participated in the discussion.

Narendra Shekhawat has presided over the meeting. Jyoti Kothari conducted the forum discussion and Pradip Chouhan offered vote of thanks. The meeting came to an end with observing two minutes silence to pay condolence to the victims of Pune bomb blast last night.

Election result tomorrow

 Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch remembered Mahatma Gandhi today, January 31, 2010 in their forum discussion. Mohandas Karamchand Gandi, nicknamed as mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on January 30, 1948. As Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch meet on Sundays they remembered mahatma Gandhi today.

Ramraj spoke as chief speakar of forum discussion that Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was a unique personality. He fought for India and brought independence to the country. He worked for his principles of Truth and Non-violence and never compromised with his principles. He was an ambassador of peace and harmony. The whole world remembers him even today, after 62 years of his assassination.

Jyoti Kothari informed about contribution of Mahatma Gandhi to the nation. Mahatma Gandhi had awaken the poorest and the weakest people of India to fight against mighty British rulers. He made Khadi a powerful weapon against rich cotton mills of Manchester, UK.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose defeated Pattavi Sitaramayya to win the post of President of Indian National Congress. Mahatma Gandhi made a statement that defeat of Sitaramayya was his defeat. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose resigned from the seat of President after this statement and quit Congress. Later on he formed Azad Hind Fauz and named one of its brigade as Gandhi brigade. Netaji himself declared Mahatma Gandhi as Rashtrapita (Father of the Nation). Few people know that the title of Rashtrapita is given to Mahatma Gandhi by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

The meeting was presided over by Rampal. Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch paid tribute to Gandhi by observing a silence for few minutes.

Tejkaran Parasar told that there were four main followers of Mahatma Gandhi in Rajasthan, Gokul Bhai Bhatt of Sirohi being the senior most. Puranchand Tunkalia, Siddharaj Dhadhha and Jawaharlal Jain were three others.

Pradip Chouhan told that photos of Mahatma Gandhi are placed in the Judicial courts of India. However, it is painful that the judiciary is not free of corruption.

Remembering Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

 Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch organized forum discussion remembering Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Sunday, January 24, 2010. It is worth to be noted that 23rd January was the Birth date of Netaji.

Mahesh Swami, Chief speaker explained briefly about his life and his credentials. he told that Netaji inspired Indians with slogan "Tum hame khoon do, Main tumhe Azadi dunga." Subhash Chandra Bose organized Azad Hind Fauz and fought for Indian independence.

Vinod Sharma, Dr. Ritum Garg, Naveen Jain (Retired magistrate), Girdhari Sharma and Tejkaran Parashar also expressed their view.

Jyoti Kothari told that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a unique personality in Indian history. He not only worked as a general of Azad Hind fauz but also involved Germany, Italy and Japan in Indian national movement. He was a civilian but became Genearl of an army. He had given title of Rashtrapita (Father of Nation) to Mahatma Gandhi.

Ravi Bhanot presided over the meeting. Advocate Pradip Chouhan delivered vote of thanks.
